Description
With respect, this announcement is addressed to all students applying for the 2026 Indonesia Smart Card for Higher Education Program (KIP Kuliah) through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) pathway:
- Based on the letter from the Center for Higher Education Funding and Assessment (PPAPT) Number: 1120/PPAPT.1.1/KIP-K/III/2026 concerning the Determination of Prospective Recipients of the Indonesia Smart Card for Higher Education Program through the SNBP pathway dated March 31, 2026, there are 559 (five hundred and fifty-nine) eligible prospective KIP Kuliah recipients who may proceed to the KIP Kuliah selection process.
- During the period of April 4–24, 2026, the Scholarship Management Team conducted document verification for prospective KIP Kuliah recipients. Based on the verification results, 4 (four) students did not complete registration, while 555 (five hundred and fifty-five) students successfully completed registration.
- The next stage is a home survey/visitation process for prospective recipients using a random sampling technique in each regency/city across North Sumatra. Each survey team will visit 15 (fifteen) students. The survey/visitation process will take place from May to July 2026.
- Students who have not yet been declared successful as prospective KIP Kuliah recipients are encouraged not to be discouraged, as there are still many other scholarship programs available to apply for.
- All stages of the KIP Kuliah selection process are free of charge in any form. If there are parties claiming to represent the Ministry, the University, or certain institutions by promising acceptance in exchange for money, such actions are illegal levies (pungli). Therefore, students are advised to remain vigilant and immediately report such incidents to the Directorate of Admission and Student Services.
