Scholarship Benefits
The Erlangga Publisher Scholarship provides financial assistance of Rp 7,500,000 per semester or Rp 15,000,000 per year. The scholarship will be revoked if the recipient's cumulative grade point average (GPA) falls below 3.00.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be an active student of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU).
- Be enrolled in:

Undergraduate (S1/D4): at least Semester 3 and no higher than Semester 7; or
-
Diploma (D3): at least Semester 3 and no higher than Semester 5.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Have parents with a combined monthly income of no more than Rp 5,000,000.
- Not be employed or bound by a service agreement with another institution, organization, or foundation.
- Not be receiving any other scholarship from another agency, institution, or foundation.
- Be willing to undertake a three-month internship at Erlangga Publisher.
Internship Requirement
Scholarship recipients are required to complete a three-month internship at Erlangga Publisher while still enrolled as students (starting from at least Semester 5) or no later than one month after receiving their Certificate of Graduation (SKL).
The internship is a paid internship, with compensation based on the applicable regional minimum wage (UMK) at the internship location.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare the following documents:
- Document Checklist Form for the Erlangga Publisher Scholarship 2026 at USU (form provided).
- Erlangga Publisher Scholarship Application Form (form provided).
- Statement of willingness to complete a three-month internship (template provided).
- Recommendation Letter from the Faculty Leadership.
- Scanned academic transcript from Semester 1 to the most recent semester.
- Certified copy of the latest Study Result Card (KHS).
- Scanned Student Identification Card (KTM) and National Identity Card (KTP).
- Scanned Family Card (KK).
- Parents' salary slip, income certificate, or Certificate of Financial Hardship (SKTM).

DTSEN verification showing Decile 1–4 from the Ministry of Social Affairs website (if available, considered an added advantage).
- Scanned certificates of achievements or awards (if available, considered an added advantage).
- Family photographs and photos of the house, including:
- Front view of the house
- Bedroom
- Bathroom
- Kitchen
- Living room
- Scanned bank account statement under the applicant's name for the past month.
- Electricity bill.
- Statement declaring that the applicant is not receiving any other scholarship (template provided).
- One 4×6 cm passport-sized photograph (background color optional).
