The TELADAN Program (Transforming Education to Develop Future Leaders) is one of the Tanoto Foundation’s initiatives to cultivate future leaders with strong character, relevant leadership competencies, and a commitment to giving back to society through the Pay It Forward spirit.

Through this program, the Tanoto Foundation provides structured, progressive, and measurable leadership development opportunities. Participants will benefit from personal development opportunities at both the national and global levels, community engagement activities, collaborative learning and networking opportunities, as well as tuition assistance and a living allowance.

TELADAN Leadership Scholarship Program 2027 Timeline

1. Application Period: July 1 – September 7, 2026
2. Administrative Selection Results: September 11–14, 2026
3. Stage 1 Selection: September 22–25, 2026
4. Stage 1 Results Announcement: October 1–3, 2026
5. Stage 2 Selection: October 8–11, 2026
6. Stage 2 Results Announcement: October 15–18, 2026
7. Stage 3 Selection: October 26 – November 15, 2026
8. Announcement of Selected Tanoto Scholars: January 7–8, 2027

Eligibility Criteria for the TELADAN Leadership Scholarship Program 2027

1. Be an Indonesian citizen.
2. Be enrolled as a first-semester regular undergraduate (Bachelor’s) student at one of the TELADAN Program partner universities and remain enrolled in the regular program until graduation (transferring to an international program is not permitted).
3. Not be actively enrolled or pursuing studies at another higher education institution simultaneously.
4. Be committed to participating in the TELADAN Leadership Development Program throughout the scholarship period (Semester 2 to Semester 8).
5. Demonstrate strong leadership potential and a commitment to contributing to society and national development.
6. Possess good communication skills in Indonesian. Proficiency in English or other foreign languages will be considered an advantage.
7. Have strong academic performance (minimum average Grade 12 high school report card score of 8.0 on a 10-point scale) and non-academic achievements, such as involvement in student organizations, social communities, or related activities.
8. Not currently receive another scholarship or financial aid program and be willing to forgo participation in other scholarships, financial assistance, or similar leadership development programs if selected for TELADAN.
9. Complete the online application through the Tanoto Foundation website.
